Antique Slug Box Sad Iron

Item Description

An antique cast iron sad iron.  This is a slug or box iron that would have had the slug heated & inserted to warm the iron.  In overall fair condition.  Wood handle shows some mild wear but is solid.  All else seems OK, the slug is included.  Measures about 6" long & 2-1/4" tall not including the handle, no apparent makers mark.
